Outreach

Meek Baptist Church has a heart to support our community in the name of Jesus.

Food Pantry

Open the 2nd Thursday of each month 5:00-6:30 pm.
Anyone is welcome to come and pick up a food box.
Please call Mainstreet Ministries the Friday BEFORE to reserve your box.
205-489-9007
If you would like to help out the food pantry, monetary donations are the best because they can buy food in quantity at a much lower price.  Any donated food may be dropped off during church office hours. If you need help with food or have any questions about the Food Pantry please contact the church.

Kids Loving Kids - Christmas Outreach

It's our joy to reflect the gift Jesus is to us, by helping parents in our area give their kids gifts at Christmas time.
MBC hosts breakfast and Hot Cocoa, has personal shoppers take parents to select toys that have been generously donated by local churches, and offers food pantry and clothing closet services while covering families with prayer to serve and minister to families in our community physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Clothes Closet

Open the 2nd Thursday of each month 5:00-6:30 pm.
Adult and children's clothing is available.
Anyone is welcome to come and pick out anything that would bless you.
Any clothing donations may be made during church office hours. If you need assistance with clothing or have any questions about the Clothes Closet please contact the church.

5th Quarter

MBC welcomes the community youth to our gym and Fellowship Hall after each Meek High School home football game.
Everyone is welcome to come,  just hang out together, and maybe grab some Little Caesars Pizza.

Adult help is always nice. Please contact the church or Jonathon Holt for more information.

Loving & Serving Our Schools

In August, MBC family spread love to teachers and also students at the "Meet the Teacher," Night at MES. School Staff, children and families were also invited to join a Back-to-School BBQ & Splash to kick-off a great start and to pray over the school year.
Later that semester, MBC brothers and sisters served a hot meal to MHS students to share God's love and to celebrate Homecoming with them.

Sharing God's Love with the Elderly

Through the generosity of our Church Family and partnership with some members of Arley First Baptist, MBC Kids collected, assembled, and delivered Baskets of Joy to residents at a local Assisted Living Home.

Sharing the Love of
Jesus Around the World

Through the generosity of our Church Family, MBC Kids assembled and prayed over Operation Christmas Child gift-packed shoe boxes to send to kids around the world through the ministry of Samaritan's Purse.
